The BJP on Saturday said Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had lost the moral right to hold the post after a Delhi court framed charges against him in a criminal defamation case filed by a BJP MP."Kejriwal has lost all moral right to be the Chief Minister after framing of charges against him in a court here regarding the defamation suit filed by South Delhi MP Ramesh Bidhuri," Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Delhi unit chief Satish Upadhyay said here.Upadhyay said the Aam Aadmi Party convener tried his best to make the proceedings in the matter linger on and evaded summons but ultimately "it seems the law is catching up with him". The BJP leader said: "This must be a rarest of rare cases of a sitting Chief Minister going to court repeatedly to face criminal proceedings and thus he has lost the moral authority to continue in office."Bidhuri has alleged that Kejriwal made defamatory statements by terming him a criminal in an interview given to a private channel on July 17 last year.Bidhuri told the court that Kejriwal's statements had maligned him and sullied his image.
