An Awareness Camp was organized today by the Department of Horticulture, District Udhampur under the scheme 'Mission for Integrated Development of Horticulture 2016-17' at Panchayat Ghar Chanunta of Ghordi Zone.A large number of farmers from different panchayats participated in the camp. Speaking on the occasion, Distict Horticulture Officer Udhampur, R K Pangotra apprised the gathering about different developmental schemes being implemented by the department of horticulture for the betterment of the farming community. Further, the participants were also informed about the new interventions in the Horticulture Sector.During the awareness camp, the DHO encouraged the participants to adopt latest techniques to increase the produce Prominent citizens of the area also spoke on the occasion and appreciated the role of Horticulture Department for organizing such camps for betterment of farming community The vote of thanks was presented by Hem Raj, Horticulture Development Officer, Ghordi.
