Over 150 candidates have got shortlisted by around 15 companies in the 38th Aryans Job Fest held today at Aryans Group of Colleges, Chandigarh. The fest witnessed over 1500 walk-ins from different parts of the country.Congratulating and thanking all the candidates and participating companies, Dr. Anshu Kataria said that Punjab has become the hub of education and now is emerging as the hottest job markets in India. With huge hiring requirements, the job fest would facilitate recruitment and enable jobseekers to fulfill their aspirations and meet the need of today’s Industry.The fest witnessed job seekers from various parts of the North India. Of the total number of participants, 60% of the jobseekers were at the fresher level, 25% at mid management and 10% at senior level. It was a multi-industry job fest, with participating companies from IT, ITES, Education, Medical and Manufacturing among others.
Prof. B.S Sidhu, Registrar, Aryans Group commenting on the occasion said that Gurudev Group of Services and Intersoft hired ECE Candidates was the prominent company offering highest salary package upto 4 lacs per annum. Heavy rush was also witnessed in the companies like Spanx Infotech, Policy bazar, Ecove solution, Blue Chip, Platinum Infosys, All India Reporter, Live Satyam, eClerx, Exide Life Insurance, Scope Telecom, Gitsein Technologies, Snowmicro Technologies, ,Arn Infotel, NIIT IFBI, Kietron Ltd etc hired Civil, Mechanical, IT students and offered package utp 2.75 lacs.Students from various Colleges/Universities including D.A.V Yamunanagar, RIMT, SUS Tangori; SVIET, Baba Banda Singh Bahadur, Beant College, Guru Gobind Singh College, Surya world, AIMT Ambala, CGC Landran, UMIT; GNDU Amritsar; Chitkara University; Panjab University, Punjabi University Patiala, Chandigarh University etc participated in the fest.Recruiters and participants were enthusiastic about the response to the fest.
