An Executive Council meeting of Bemina Coordination Committee of Masajids and Mohallajaat lead by its Chairman Haji Muhammad Shafi Shah was held here today on 17th October 2016 at 8 am, where in the recent elections of some Mosques & Mohallas(colonies) of the city have been discussed threadbare. The Coordination Committee has extended their congratulations & best wishes to the newly elected presidents & other executive members of different Welfare Committees and has stressed on new elected bodies to make their respective Baitul-Malls more effective & strong, so that the needy & deserving people will get more benefit & help especially during current crisis & likewise situations.In the meeting Council has unanimously elected its new Vice-Chairman and 2 members of the Central Working Committee. A well reputed social worker Dr. Syed Sajjad Hussain has been declared the Vice-Chairman of this 20 years old reputed non-government & non-political organization, keeping in consideration his past humanitarian & social services to his vicinity and other parts of the area. He has recently won the Majlis-i-Shoura & Welfare Committee elections with a huge margin and was declared an Ameer Majlis-i-Shoura and President Welfare Committee Hamza Colony, Bemina, Srinagar.
Dr. Syed Sajjad a key figure in Medical Fraternity, is a socio-religious activist and underprivileged rights worker and associated with a number of national and international religious & medical organizations.
He has been the president & founder of one of the Doctors Association, Jammu & Kashmir Junior Physicians’ Association from last two decades.The elected Vice Chairman of the leading non-government & non-political organization of the city assured just after the declaration that his priority will be to consolidate the Committee with better coordination among its constituents and establish its organizational base in so far left out areas of the City. The Council in general & the Chairman Haji Muhammad Shafi Shah of Bemina Coordination Committee in particular has high hopes & has delegated significant responsibilities on the incumbent Vice-Chairman for the future growth and development of the city area to serve the community of our area in a better way.Coordination Committee also congratulates other newly elected Ameers and Presidents especially Engr Zahid Ahmed ‘Ameer & President’ Masjid Gani & Welfare Committee Haji Abad, Mr. Fayaz Ahmed Gadda ‘Ameer & President’ Masjid Iqra & Welfare Committee Iqra Colony, Haji Hafiz Mohammad Iqbal ‘Ameer & President’ Masjid Abu-Bakar Colony, Bypass, Srinagar and other elected members of Majlis-Shoura.
