This day is a remarkable day for all the contestants who made up to the grand finale round of this beauty pageant, Miss Punjab 2016, Pageant with a purpose. This day for all the girls is undoubtedly a day full of joy, excitement as well nervousness.The entire event is being organized by the company The Managers Network which is owned by Mohit Sharma, Mubarak Sandhu and Jagjeet Singh. “The Managers Network is a full-service event management, media and Fashion Company based in Mohali, Punjab dedicated towards quality and excellence. This platform would welcome all those girls for whom such pageants are a distant dream and they would get a full hand experience to explore and learn.The auditions were conducted in major cities of Punjab i.e. Amritsar, Jalandhar, Ludhiana, Patiala and lastly, Chandigarh. After conducting the auditions successfully in all these cities the semi finals were conducted in Patiala and from there 29 candidates were selected for the grand finale which was held in GNA University Phagwara .
The jury who judged the grand finale comprised of Palwinder Wariach (Owner Sovi Entertainments and Video Director), Amar Noori (Singer), Sonu Gandhi (Designer), Sandeep Kumar (Founder & CEO of Rubaru Miss India Elite & Mister India), Aslam Khan (Designer), S.B Haryanvi (Singer and Video Director), Balraj Singh khaira (2015 Roadies Winner), Ritu Kolentine (International Makeup artist) also, PRO Chancellor Mr. Gurdeep Sihra and Vice Chancellor Dr. Prem Kumar were the chief guest for the occasion.Miss Harmanjeet Kaur Mann , from who won this beauty pageant added, “Today, I am so happy bagging the title of Miss Punjab 2016, pageant with a purpose. I am short of words to express this feeling and this wouldn’t have been possible without The Managers Network team who were so cooperative all throughout. Everything was so transparent and I am very thankful to all the judges as well.
This pageant was honestly a very enriching experience for us, we got to know so many new things and now, once I step out from here I have evolved into a different personality altogether.”The first runner up was bagged by Harmanpreet Kaur and the second Runner up was Jasmeet Kaur.
