Quest Group of Institutions organised Fresher's Party Freshomania 2016 at its campus. Enthralling dances performances were staged by seniors welcomed the new entrants. The students from different states of India as well as International students showcased their talent in Singing, Mimicry, Dances, Folk Songs and Dances. Students from North East delivered a powerful band performance. Students from Punjab enthralled the audience with a stellar Bhangra Performance. It provided an opportunity to all students to participate in their area of interest. The message of cultural activities was importance of family, college life and drug addiction.
Among the most captivating events of the day was Mr. & Ms. fresher contest, where new comers put their first foot forward to clinch the title. Zahoor Ahmad Mir from B. Tech Civil crowned as Mr. Fresher whereas Avaleen from BBA bagged the Ms. Fresher title. Suraj from MBA won the Best Dressed Male Title and Priya from BCA won the Best Dressed Female title.The Chairman D. S. Sekhon welcomed the new students and stressed on maintaining the balance between academics and extracurricular activities. He later, spoke on issues like contemporary management scenario and stressed upon the need to modernize education and bring it on par with the developed nations.
