Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee President Capt Amarinder Singh today said that there was no question of any “leaks” hence no scope of any inquiry when there was no survey conducted by the PCC about the status of the sitting members of parliament from Punjab.Responding to the demand by senior party leader and former Chief Minister Ms Rajinder Kaur Bhattal that the matter should be probed, Capt Amarinder pointed out, he had already refuted the claims made in a news report which obviously was baseless and devoid of any facts.Besides, he asked, “where is the question of leak and a scope of inquiry when there was no survey conducted at all?” He asserted that the matter should be closed since he has already made it clear that there was no survey conducted about any candidate by the PCC. Capt Amarinder said, the report was obviously not based on any “leak”, but was actually the figment of an imagination by some people. He pointed out, a leak could be suspected if there had been any survey conducted. “When there was no survey so what can be leaked by anyone?” he asked.
