Navratra Festival-2016 : Sham Choudhary attends Shobha Yatra

Minister for PHE, Irrigation and Flood Control, Sham Lal Choudhary attended Shobha yatra cum cultural procession   taken out here last evening. The yatra which started from Asia Chowk culminated at Yog Ashram Katra.The PHE Minister was chief guest on the occasion while DDC Reasi Ravinder Kumar was the guest of honour in the occasion.Speaking on the occasion, the Minister extended his greetings to the people on the occasion of Navratra.Later, the minister also attended the All India Devotional Song Competition which was organised by the District Administration in collaboration with the Tourism Department and SMVDB.In all 10 participants from the semi finals could make it to the finals, the contest for which was held last evening.The finalist for the national contest are  Kiran Bawa from Jallandhar , Rakesh Malhotra from Jammu , Sarabjeet Singh from Jammu, Sukhjinder Jeet from Amritsar, Surinder Kumar from Jammu, Varsha Jamwal from Jammu, Arshi Kalas from Udhampur, Vivek Mohan, Sushmita Banerjee and  Gayatri from Jammu.
