To provide better facilities to the District Hospital, MLA Bandipora Usman Majeed, today convened a meeting of Rogi Kalyan Samiti (RKS).The meeting reviewed the work progress of the District Hospital Bandipora under RKS during the current year.The meeting was informed about the establishment of Resuscitation Room, Accidental & Emergency Section, Mental Health Clinic, Drug De-addiction Center, Counseling Cell and installation of various equipments in the hospital.The meeting also discussed various issues regarding upgradation of health infrastructure in the district like proper disposal of hospital waste under scientific methods, sanitation, establishment of Labor room, Deliver Room and Special Newborn Care Unit (SNCU).Mr. Usman Majeed instructed the concerned to improve the functioning of Rogi Kalyan Samiti by coordinating with other departments to meet the requirements of hospital and also deploy the best of the efforts in serving needy people.He also assured the members that genuine demands like shortage of Labor room, Delivery Room, Special Newborn Care Unit (SNCU), sanitation and proper disposal of hospital waste will be take to the concerned authorities for early redressal.Medical Superintendent District Hospital Bandipora Dr. Mushtaq Ahmad, CMO, BMOs of the district, and members of RKS from various departments were present in the meeting.
