Deputy Commissioner Kathua Ramesh Kumar today inspected ongoing Girdawari at Village Taraf Pai and Goond of Tehsil Nagri Parole.Deputy Commissioner Kathua inspected Girdawaris made during this season which commenced from September 15 and will continue till October 15, 2016, during which the Patwaris will be conducting the harvest inspections according to the schedule prepared by them.While inspecting the ongoing Girdawari DC directed the Tehsildar and Girdawar to comply strictly with Standing Order 22 and further said that various assets and trees be clearly marked in the Girdawari. The DC further emphasized on proper maintenance of revenue record for preserving it for long time.DC also stated that special mutation camps be held after Girdawari season for attestation of mutation and presence of Chowkidar, Lambardar is mandatory while making Girdawari entry.
He further directed that common assets like common paths and Kuls should be protected from encroachment.Later in the day, DC interacted with the villagers of Pandori and took stock of the problems being faced by them and on spot directions were issued for early redressal of their problems.Earlier, DC Kathua inspected Nagri Parole Tehsil Office and the office of EO Municipality Nagri Parole along with Aadhar Camp to review the enrolment status.The DC was accompanied by Tehsildar Nagri Parole , Tehsildar HQ , EO Nagri Parole besides officers and officials of other departments.
