Jammu and Kashmir State Congress Chief, G A Mir on Thursday asked the separatists to reconsider their decision to prolong the ongoing agitation in the “interest of common Kashmiri.”He added that amid the political clashes of ideologies there should be space for humanity as well.“The ongoing unrest completed 90 days today. We have to understand that there are certain communities who are running out of money. They don’t have ration and other necessary things to survive. They are at the verge of starvation. Amid the politics on issues, there must be some space for humanity also,” Mir told KNS.He added that it is not possible for the people to survive by taking charity or repeatedly barrow money from friends and relatives.“Those (Hurriyat leaders) who issue the protest calendars have to understand all this and reconsider their decision before issuing any other calendar,” Mir said.

“The situation is where it was on July 8, as the ongoing unrest completed 90 days on October 6,” JKPCC chief added.“When Director General of Military Operations has addressed media and informed the nation that surgical strike have took place, there should be no queries to seek evidences,” he said while replying to a query. He also asked the government to create conducive atmosphere before asking students to appear in examinations.“The students have not completed their syllabus so far as the students have not attended their classes since past three months. On other hand, students are being arrested, detained, maimed and blinded. Government must give thought to it,” he said.He said that the government should perform their duty of creating enabling atmosphere for the examinations as the education requires peaceful and free environment.
