On 86th consecutive day, normal life in Kashmir continued to remain paralysed with clashes, protests and processions reported from several Valley areas. Around 30 people were injured by pellets during clashes reported in some areas.According to KNS correspondent, restrictions were imposed in several areas of Valley to thwart any possible protest march called by separatist leadership. However, all the educational institutions, main markets, other businesses were shut while public transport remained off the roads.However, curfew was imposed in Narbal area of central Kashmir’s Budgam district in wake of the call give by separatist leadership.Meanwhile, reports of clashes were received from different area of Valley.

According to KNS correspondent, 15 civilians were injured during clashes with government forces in Check Kawoosa area of central Kashmir’s Budgam. Restrictions were imposed in the area in wake of fresh civilian killing to thwart any possible protest.Locals in Magam allege CRPF went on rampage in the area during which windowpanes of 15 residential houses and 4 PDD transformers were damaged. According to KNS’s Kulgam correspondent, unknown men set Govt Girls Higher Secondary School computer lab on fire in which 16 computers, furniture and mating were damaged.Meanwhile, Deputy CEO Kulgam about the issue said, “I visited the site, there was a watchman who due to fear run away when the men entered the school premises. An FIR has been registered in this regard.”

Night long clashes were reported in Khudwani, Qaimoh, Radwani were a man, reportedly, was hit by bullet in leg. Resident alleged that forces beat up the civilians of the area during which clashes erupted and forces restored to teargas canister and aerial firing.Locals alleged that forces have burnt down the rice crops, grass and damaged other property. However, clashes erupted in the morning during which 30 persons were injured including 10 women while as 5 persons sustained pellet injuries in their eyes. More than 10 persons were arrested in the area.Meanwhile, unknown gunman killed a former Surpanch namely Fayaz Ahamd Baht son of Ab Gani Bhat resident of Kandizal area of district Pulwama. He was associated with National Conference. However, the five-year term of the Panchayats in Kashmir ended in July this year.Meanwhile, clashes erupted in district Shopian between protestors and government forces during which three civilians sustained injuries.Witnesses said that clashes erupted in the area after forces ransacked the residential houses that angered the youth which resulted in clashes.
