Justice Dhiraj Singh Thakur visits Ukhral to discuss arrangements for CJI Visit

Justice Dhiraj Singh Thakur visited Ukhral Tehsil to take stock of arrangements for the scheduled visit of  Chief Justice of India(CJI) to the area for attending various functions. Accompanied by senior officers of the Judiciary, district administration, security and police Justice Thakur visited all the venues and received brief from deputy commissioner Mohammad Aijaz about the arrangements. Others present were Registrar Vigilance Jammu and Kashmir High Court, Jammu, Ashok Koul, Director Judicial Academy Abdul Rashid Malik, Principal and District Session Judge, Ramban Kalpana Reva, Director RDD Jammu, Pardeep Kumar, SSP Ramban, SP Security Jammu and district officers.Deputy Commissioner apprised Justice Thakur on the civil and security arrangements put in place at Ramban, Konchi, Ukhral and Hoonga, all four locations where the functions are being  organised.  The deputy commissioner gave details about the arrangements made for security, transport facility, ferrying service, parking points, seating arrangements, public interaction places.The civil and police officers said that ninety percent preparations have been made at all the venues and remaining shall also be completed in next few days.They also assured that district administration would extend full cooperation to local people who are expected to meet and interact with CJI.
