Chairperson of Dukhtaran-e-Millat, Syedah Aasiyeh Andrabi, on Thursday said that Indian claims that it has carried out “surgical strikes” inside Azad Kashmir is nothing but bunch of lies spread to pacify media and its people.“I had a conversation with the many people in Azad Kashmir about the Indian claims of surgical strikes. The reality is that there has been a routine exchange of fire across LoC in which two of Pak’s army personnel have been martyred and many others are injured. The claims that India has carried surgical strikes and killed 35 Mujahideen is a lie spread to pacify the ranting media channels and the some Indians,” she said in a statement issued to KNS.She said that it is laughable that India claims that it carried out the operation for more than three hours within Azad Kashmir and then came back without any harm. “If the claims about the strikes is true then they should have recorded these strikes and then shown to everyone that how they attacked the launch pads of Mujahideen and then killed them. They cannot do it as it is a lie and a drama which Indian media is propagating,” she said.
“Like elders lie to pacify kids, Indian government is doing the same to pacify the jingoist media and to hoodwink its people into believing that Indian army is brave,” she said.She said that if these lies are to be believed then can’t it be termed as a worst terrorist act carried out in a foreign territory under the patronage Indian government and its defense ministry. “India blamed Pakistan for Uri, which was vehemently denied by Pakistan and there is no proof about it. Despite, denial by Pakistan, India blamed it for carrying out the attack and termed it a ‘terrorist act’. The world should then also take notice of what India is claiming and should decide what can be this act termed which is even acknowledged by Indian government and it defense ministry,” she added.
Andrabi said that peole of JK mustn’t be sad about the incident as it is a lie. “After hearing the lies on Indian news channels people became sad but let me assure them that it is nothing but a baseless and a blatant lie,” she said.She said that in actuality, India is frustrated by the ongoing resistance movement in Kashmir and was performing insane acts to hide the frustration. “India’s hold on Kashmir is shaken, its politicians and the government is behaving mad and don’t even know what they are doing and saying nowadays,” she added.She said that in frustration, the government also ordered its police to forcibly evacuate the volunteers from the SMHS hospital premises on Thursday. “These volunteers from different NGOs and organization were providing food, medicines and other goods to the patients at the hospital but today the coward police force bundled 16 of these volunteers and also seized their ambulances and forcibly evacuated the premises. This shows how frustrated government is,” she said. (KNS)
