The incarcerated chairman of Democratic Freedom Party (DFP) Shabir Ahmad Shah on Thursday assured the nation that despite India’s propaganda the world leadership is keenly observing the situation in Kashmir issue while appealing the people to continue the peaceful struggle for freedom. In a statement issued to KNS, Shah said India cannot continue its stubbornness on Kashmir for long but will be compelled to resolve the dispute. He also thanked Pakistan for its successful diplomatic support to Kashmir cause.Shah said even though India is continuing with its propaganda but the country is facing immense pressure at international level and is being criticized for its grave human rights violations in Kashmir.“China, Turkey, Iran, Italy, and OIC countries are supporting Pakistan and our cause. Our cries are not going unheard and the blood of our martyrs won’t go waste,” he said.Hailing Pakistan for its diplomatic and moral support for resolving Kashmir issue, Shah said it is due to the Islamic Republic’s sincere and successful endeavours that Kashmir issue is echoing across the world.

“I want to tell my nation that for achieving freedom, sacrifices are inevitable and we need to remain steadfast on our mission. Some materialistic people are confusing us not to face a big power like India but we shouldn’t pay heed to the nonsense of these paid agents and continue our freedom struggle with zeal and vigour,” he said.Reiterating his appeal to nation to follow the protest programme in letter and spirit, Shabir Ahmad Shah said youth and Masjid committees should play proactive role in this regard. He appealed all the sections of society including employees, teachers, doctors, businessmen, and transporters to continue their struggle and contribute to movement in every possible way.Shah also appealed the doctors to charge only half fee to patients belonging to weaker sections of the society during these hard times. “Doctors must act as messiahs during these tough times and continue to contribute to the society in every possible way,” he said.He also appealed the Kashmiris residing in different parts of the world to raise voice in favour of Kashmir and garner support for the cause.
