Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir, Mr. Baseer Ahmad Khan today chaired the 16th Divisional Level Committee (DLC) meeting of J&K ERA to review the rehabilitation of the affected shopkeepers due to construction of flyover from Jehangir Chowk to Rambagh, Srinagar. Directing the concerned for expediting and completion of the rehabilitation process of affected shopkeepers with  in time frame, the Divisional Commissioner said that during taking initiatives for  rehabilitation of affected shopkeepers traffic movement should not be hampered.The meeting was informed that a shopping complex with parking facility will be constructed where shops will be allotted to the affected shopkeepers.CEO J&K ERA, Chairman SDA, Commissioner SMC, SP Traffic, Chief Engineer EM&RE, Chief Engineer Sewerage and Drainage were present in the meeting.Later in another meeting, the Divisional Commissioner discussed re-verification report of task force for rehabilitation of shopkeepers affected due to Batamaloo-Qamarwari project.The Divisional Commissioner directed the Committee constituted for the purpose should submit its report within week’s time so that it could be put to public domain for inviting objections and suggestions if any.The meeting was attended by Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, Commissioner SMC, Chief Engineer R&B and other officers were  present in the meeting.
