Women activists of the Congress party on Sunday greeted Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal with black flags when he reached the Sikh holy city of Amritsar and Jalandhar to campaign for his Aam aadmi Party and asked him to go back. The activists were protesting against the alleged involvement of Aam Aadmi Party legislators in Delhi in crimes against women. They were holding black flags and placards, saying "Kejriwal Go Back".Punjab Mahila Congress President Mamta Dutta said in Amritsar that AAP legislators were involved in outraging the modesty of women and the leader of such persons would not be tolerated in Punjab. She said the AAP has failed miserably in Delhi and now it will ruin Punjab. As Kejriwal landed in Amritsar, the Congress activists gathered there staged the protest by raising black flags and shouting slogans against him and the AAP.

They were pushed back by policemen when they tried to intercept his car convoy.Dutta alleged that she suffered injuries on her face when she was "pushed" and "shoved" by the police during the protest. After landing at the Sri Guru Ramdas International Airport, Kejriwal straightway went to Jalandhar where he was scheduled to attend Agrasen Jayanti Samaroh. In Jalandhar too, the Congress women workers raised black flags and shouted slogans against him.Placards read "Delhi ko barbad kiya...Punjab nahi (You have ruined Delhi... Don't do it in Punjab)."Earlier this month, Kejriwal faced similar protests by the Bharatiya Janata Party, Akali Dal and Congress activists in the state.Kejriwal has been frequently visiting Punjab, where the assembly elections are due early next year.
