Deputy Commissioner, Mohammad Harun Malik, reviewed the functioning of Education department in a meeting here today.Chief Education Officer, Lal Hussain, District Planning Officer Makhan Lal, Principal of all Higher Secondary Schools, ZEOs besides Headmasters were present in the meeting.The DDC held a review of the ongoing developmental works under SSA / RAMSA, disbursement of Pahari Scholarship, Aadhar seeding and opening of bank accounts of students besides security and transportation plan for private schools was also discussed.Deputy Commissioner set deadline for disbursement of scholarship before October 20 and directed all the heads of the institutions to submit red account with in fixed date.He directed the Chief Education Officer for organizing training programmes for teachers under SSA from 26th September to 4th October, 2016 on rotational basis so that the students may not suffer.He also asked the department to take up construction of 64 additional classroom facilities in different schools within six months.
