Chairperson of Dukhtaran-e-Millat, Syedah Aasiyeh Andrabi, on Wednesday urged the Muslim countries to support Pakistan’s stand on Kashmir and its efforts to highlight the Indian brutalities on Kashmiris in the ongoing UNGA session at New York.“The Muslim countries are requested that they should understand their responsibilities towards Kashmir and Kashmiris and should stand with Pakistan and support their genuine demands vis-à-vis Kashmir dispute,” she said in a statement issued to KNS.She said that Pakistan always throws its weight behind a Muslim country when needed. “Nowadays, India has launched a serious propaganda against Pakistan and Pakistan is in need of support from the Muslim World. So it is the duty of these Muslim countries to stand with Pakistan,” she added.Andrabi said that other than Bangladesh and Afghanistan, all others are well aware of Pakistan’s importance to the Muslim world. “Both Afghanistan and Bangladesh have sold their conscience to India and have no identity of their own. Rest of the Muslim countries does know about Pakistan’s importance and support it at all levels,” she added.

She further said that the threats by Indian government and its military to Pakistan won’t deter this country from highlighting the cause of Kashmiris. “These Indian military men and the jingoist Indian politicians and media must understand that this is not 1971 but 2016. Pakistan is a nuclear power and is fully equipped to give a befitting reply to any Indian aggression,” she said. She said that India should know that by paying and giving asylum to pawns from Balochistan won’t make any difference to the integrity of Pakistan. “India always gives asylum to those who are anti-Muslim and anti-Islam. Be it the shameless Talsleema Nasreen or Salman Rushdie. By paying pawns, India can’t harm the territorial integrity of Pakistan,” she added. She said that people of Kashmir are thankful to Pakistan for doing what was required. “Pakistan’s efforts vis-à-vis the ongoing resistance movement in Kashmir on the international forums has defamed India and now India is adopting all cheap tactics to counter Pakistan’s sincere efforts. Indian actions reflect its frustration,” she added.

Andrabi while commenting upon the situation in Kashmir said that the Indian armed forces were resorting to worst forms of brutalities to quell the ongoing resistance movement. “ This situation is very serious. Indian occupying forces have resorted to every form of brutality to suppress us but Kashmiris are resiliently struggling for the past 74 days,” she said. She said that the recent army action in south Kashmir and other parts of the Kashmir was a matter of concern. “ Indian forces will continue to brutalize us in all forms but we must remember that our forefathers have suffered even worse but never budged before the enemy. So need is that we remain steadfast in our resolve and continue the resistance movement until India is forced to leave Kashmir,” she said.“We must seek the Allah’s (SWT) help and blessing and must hold special prayers so that the Almighty Allah frees us from Indian illegal occupation,” she added.
