The District Level Review Committee meeting of District Poonch for the quarter ended upto June 2016 was held under the chairmanship of District Development Commissioner, Mohd Harun Malik, to review the status of annual action Plan.LDM, Rakesh Sudan, informed the meeting that during the last quarter there is an achievement of Rs 52.57 crore under ACP while there is a disbursement of Rs 15.82 crore under priority sector and Rs 36.75 crore were disbursed under non priority sector. Besides, over 2362 persons have been provided loan for carrying out income generating activities in the district during the June quarter of 2016-2017.Moreover, 29483 KCC have been issued to the farmers in the district till the end of June 2016. Besides, 9681 persons were enrolled under PMSBY and 4250 persons were enrolled under PMJJBY.Similarly, another social security pension scheme APY was also launched in the district under which an enrollment upto 904 was recorded. Besides, 320 cases have been sanctioned and disbursed by different banks under MUDRA.
Further, awareness camps on PMMY scheme are being organised in the district while different banks have organized 77 awareness camps during the period.The DC called for inclusion of labour class people under the ambit of different insurance benefits schemes.The DC stressed upon the need of holding camps for financial literacy and awareness to make people aware about various schemes and programmes being launched for employment generation and economic development. He advised all line departments to work together for achieving the targets under new ACP for the financial year 2016-17.The meeting was attended by AGM, RBI, Rajnish Mahotra , DDM NABARD Deshraj Bhagat, Cluster Head J&K Bank, Anil Bakshi, Area Manager JKGB, R.K. Narang and FLCC S, Anmol Singh and other officers.
