Senior PDP leader and Education Minister Naeem Akhter has said that his party would break the precedence set by the previous central governments in responding to the public uprisings occurring and re-occuring in Kashmir from time to time.Talking to KNS over phone Education Minister Naeem Akhter said “ Once the normalcy returns to Kashmir the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) will pursue the issues concerning Kashmir vigorously with the Government of India”. Saying that PDP while in power won’t allow the central government to forget all about concerns of Kashmir anger Akhter said “ All the commitments of PDP are reflected in the agenda of alliance and once the normalcy returns we will persuade the present central government to start the process of dialogue and reconciliation to address the issues concerning people of Jammu & Kashmir”.
