Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Mr. Baseer Ahmad Khan convened a high level meeting to review the arrangements for arrival of Hajj Pilgrims.The meeting was informed that first batch of Hajj Pilgrims will arrive at 8.40 am at Srinagar International Airport on September 24, 2016.The Divisional Commissioner directed to officers of PHE, Fire & Emergency Services, PDD, Health to make all necessary arrangements during the arrival days of Haj pilgrims. The Div com also directed the Custom authorities to make sure smooth custom clearance at Airport.The meeting was informed that volunteers of Home guard and other concerned agencies will be available at airport to assist the pilgrimsThe Divisional Commissioner also directed SRTC to provide transport facilities to the pilgrimsThe meeting was attended by Deputy Commissioners of Srinagar and Budgam, DIG, Police, Managing Director SRTC, Commanded CRPF, Officers of Airport authorities, and other concerned officers.
