Acting swiftly to fulfill his promise made with the Patwar Union, the Punjab Revenue & Public Relations Minister Bikram Singh Majithia today arranged a special meeting of the Patwar Union with the Punjab Finance Minister. During the meeting the Finance Minister assured the Patwar Union to consider all their pending demands favorably.Disclosing this after the meeting Mr. Majithia said that Finance Minister has agreed to consider all genuine demands of the patwaris positively with the senior officials of the department. Mr. Majithia said that the Revenue patwar union put three demands before the Finance Minister related to the finance department included disparity in pay of patwairs, time scale and delimitation of Kanungo circles in the ratio of 5 patwaris per one kanungo. He said that all these demands were discussed with the Finance Minister at length to bring out a positive solution. Others prominent present in the meeting included Mr. KBS Sidhu Financial Commissioner Revenue, Mr. Dilraj Singh Sandhawalia Director Land Records Society, Punjab, Mr. Om Parkash Thind Patwar Union President, Mr. Harbir Singh General Secretary, Mr. Krishan Manocha Cashiar, Mr. Mohar Singh Batth, Mr. Mohan Singh Bhedpura, Mr. Malkit Singh, Mr. Gurjant Singh Lambi, Mr. Jasbir Singh, Mr. Didar Singh Chhokar, Mr. Kuldeep Singh, Mr. Hari Singh and Mr. Pawan Kumar.
