Castigating PDP-BJP coalition for pushing people to the wall, Youth National Conference on Friday said Pir Panjal region has been worst hit where the government is almost missing with administrative inertia reflected in every sphere.Addressing a well attended public rally in Mandi tehsil headquarter in Poonch district, Youth National Conference Provincial President Ajaz Jan said the administrative apparatus has totally got paralysed due to frequent transfers of officers and officials.“There is no coherent transfer policy, as a result of which the officials, who are expected to address issues facing to people, remain in seeking adjustments and cancelling transfers”, he said adding that this has taken a toll of administrative machinery”, he added. He also expressed concern over shortage of funds, saying these have affected clearing liabilities for SDRF works which has in return stopped the execution of various developmental projects. He said that state government is almost missing in Pir Panjal region with Ministers of paying visit just to show their presence. The people have been left in lurch, as the promises made during electioneering and after formation of the government are proving hoax, he added.“Most of bridges damaged in 2014 floods are still to be repaired by present government which shows non-challant attitude of PDP BJP government, “Jan added.

He said that government has even failed to get the burning issues of Pir Panjal solved, which include f Rajouri - Kotranka - Budhal road, needing widening and improvement by GREF, f blacktopping on Rajouri to Thanamandi road, construction of Mini Secretariat complex at Rajouri, grant of Sub District Hospital level facilities in Thanamandi health centrel, making new administrative units fully functional, starting new Tehsil in Budhal, solving issues of people living near LoC in Poonch and Mendhar, repairing the main power feeding line of Poonch and completion of several new road projects across Poonch district. “For the past two years, no headway has been made in this regard”, he added. The Provincial Youth National Conference President expressed concern over the problems being face by the people in Chenab valley and other areas of Jammu region, and called for immediate repair of road network to prevent any fatal accidents which have become a usual incident in the area.“Government should lift mobile internet ban in Rajouri, Poonch, Kishtwar, Doda and Ramban as it's affecting the modern life badly” Jan said terming the ban as unwanted. He also prayed for restoration of normalcy in Kashmir valley terming the situation as a tension for every JK resident and termed poor policies of government a reason of this. (KNS)
