Minister for Rural Development & Panchayati Raj and Law & Justice Abdul Haq conducted an extensive tour of far flung Daggan top area of Mahore here today.The Minister inspected the various ongoing works in Mahore, Gulabgarh, Chassana ,Thuroo and Arnas blocks.Emphasizing on participatory planning, the Minister said that local people should also be involved in preparing action plans of various developmental projects.While reviewing the implementation of various schemes, the Minister directed the concerned officers to organize awareness camps in the far flung and remote areas so that the benefits of all the welfare programmes percolate down to the common masses.Further, he asked the officers to monitor and implement various schemes of Rural Development in a transparent mannerThe Minister also held a public grievance redressal camp at Dak Bungalow Mahore where the people apprised him about various problems and demands including construction of new bus stand at Mahore, Mini Secretariat at Mahore etc. They also asked for the release of pending payments under MNREGA Scheme. Responding to their demands, the Minister assured them that their pending payments would be released before upcoming Eid-ul-Azha festival.Director RDD Pradeep Kumar, ACD Suram Chand Sharma, DPO Rajeev Khajuria,SDM Mahore and other district and block level officers were present on the occasion.
