Head of the women wing of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Prof Baljinder Kaur today bombarded Delhi MLA of AAP Col Devinder Sehrawat for defaming women of Punjab by levelling false allegations against the AAP leaders on the direction of political opponents. “Col Sehrawat has a history of criticising AAP leaders ever since he has joined the party on one pretext or another”, she added. Prof Baljinder Kaur said that the party gave him (Col Sehrawat) party ticket in Delhi assembly elections in 2013, which he lost and again in 2014, when he was given ticket he lost the poll in a second consecutive defeat. In 2015 also, party reposed faith in him and ultimately he won. “Party continuously reposed faith in him but he has never been loyal to the party in the same manner”, she alleged. said that Col Sehrawat should either produce evidences to support his allegations or stop defaming the women of Punjab.“Party has strong evidences that he (Col Sehrawat) is playing in the hands of Akalis and is often seen levelling allegations against AAP leaders through the TV channels owned by Akalis.
