World No.1 Serena Williams of the United States defeated Johanna Larsson of Sweden 6-2, 6-1 in the US Open third round here on Saturday, one step closer to winning the women's singles title for the seventh time at Flushing Meadows."It was a really good match for me because she played a different kind of match.
