Vowing that AAP has adopted zero percent tolerance against corruption, Co-Incharge of AAP’s affairs of Punjab and Delhi MLA Jarnail Singh today revealed that party has expelled former minister Sandeep Kumar from the primary membership of the party.Addressing a press conference here along with Head of the legal cell Himmat Singh Shergil and Head of the Administrative and Grievances Committee Jasbir Singh Bir (Retd. IAS), Jarnail Singh revealed that committee constituted to probe allegations against former State Convenor of AAP, Sucha Singh Chhotepur has already initiated its probe, which would be completed very soon. “It is shocking and surprising that other opposition parties including Congress, SAD and BJP never take any action against their leaders, in spite of serious allegations against them”, Jarnail Singh said while citing the cases of Pankaja Munde, Vasudhra Raje Scindhia and Shivraj Chouhan.Even Congress did not buzz even after the allegations against its leaders Ashok Manu Singhvi and ND Tiwari, who were openly seen involved in the Sex Scandal, AAP leaders said even the leaders like Sajjan Kumar and Jagdish Tytler were awarded prized appointments by Congress in spite of their alleged involvement in massacre of Sikhs in 1984.In the same pattern, SAD also remained mum even after alleged involved of its minister Tota Singh in the pesticide scam, due to which several farmers had to take the extreme step of suicides, he said questioning why no action was taken against SAD Minister Bikram Singh Majithia, who was named for his (Majithia) involvement in the multi-crore drug racket by the key accused Jagdish Bhola?

As far as allegations against Chhotepur were concerned, the Probe Committee would issue a notice to him (Chhotepur) today itself and entire process of probe would be completed within ten days.Responding to a query on releasing of the sting video of Chhotepur, Jarnail Singh said that when Chhotepur himself admitted of taking the money packet (bribe), there was no need to make the sting video public, which has already been watched by the Probe Committee of AAP.Refuting the allegations levelled by former AAP leader Hardip Singh Kingra, Jarnail Singh clarified that he did not meet Kingra for the last four or five months and who-so-ever is making such false allegations would be taken to task by the party. On the possible formation of Fourth Front led by Navjot Sidhu, AAP MLA said people, who were fed up with the Badals’ regime have already made up their mind to support AAP as an only political alternative and under these circumstances whosoever make the fourth front would ultimately aim to support Badals and their loot, which people of Punjab also understand.Replying to a query regarding an attempt to rake up the issue of “Punjabis vs non-Punjabis” by opposition parties, Jarnail Singh termed it as a “baseless issue” and said party’s national leaders Sanjay Singh and Durgesh Pathak were working round the clock to strengthen the party, which caused ‘unrest’ in the opposition parties. “Are Prashant Kishore, Asha Kumari, Harish Choudhary, Shakeel Ahmed and even Rahul Gandhi Punjabis?” he quipped.

While commending the attack on the AAP workers by SAD’s goons at Malout today, Delhi MLA claimed that with the growing support of AAP in masses, opposition parties got frustrated and adopted such tactics to create fear among AAP workers, who are courageous enough to give befitting reply to such tactics. On the issue of alleged misbehaviour with media by AAP MP Bhagwant Mann, Jarnail Singh said if Mann has committed any mistake in advertent or inadvertent manner, party apologise for the same.  Party would instruct Mann not to repeat such acts in future and very soon Mann himself would tender an apology.
