Himachal CM starts Rs 27 cr projects in Kinnaur

Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh on Thursday dedicated and laid foundation stones of development projects worth Rs 27 crore in remote Kinnaur district, a statement said.The Chief Minister on the first day of his three-day visit dedicated development projects that included two crucial bridges on the National Highway No.5 (NH-5) at Kharogla rivulet on the Karcham-Sangla-Chitkul road.The bridges would be constructed at a cost of Rs 6.13 crore, an official statement said.Singh also inaugurated the building of a government school at Urni, a bus stand at Sangla and a primary health centre building at Nigulsari.He laid a foundation stone for upgrading water supply scheme for Tapri town that will benefit about 1,400 people of the area.The Chief Minister performed a religious ceremony for upgradation of a link road from the national highway to Nichar via Panvi at Wangtoo.
