Dr. Charanjit Singh Atwal, Speaker Punjab Vidhan Sabha today called on the newly appointed Governor Punjab, Mr. V. P. Singh Badnaur at Punjab Raj Bhawan to extend him the formal welcome to the state of Punjab.After meeting the Governor, Mr. Atwal accompanied by Mr. Som Parkash MLA said that it was a courtesy call and he had apprised the Governor about Punjab especially its rich cultural heritage mixed with warm and hospitable nature of Punjabis on the whole.
