AAP Youth Wing president and party candidate from Sahnewal constituency Mr. Harjot Singh Bains lead a deputation of the residents of Ram Nagar, 33ft road, Mundian Kalan and met CommissionerMuninicipal Corporation Ghanshyam Thori and demanded to restart of the Ludhiana City Bus Service on the Bus Stand to Ram Nagar route. Mr. Bains informed that the Bus on this route has been discontinued from August 21, 2016. He added that this bus service besides being highly convenient, was highly economical to the commuters and it being a public transport was also safer for our women folk. Mr. Bains further said that this public transport was also less polluting thus contributing to being environment friendly. He further added that discontinuation of City Bus Service on this route is causing a lot of inconvenience and harassment to the residents of our area and is also an extra burden on our already weak financial conditions. The Commissioner assured to look into the demand of the residents and shortly take the decision on the matter. He also assured the residents that he will always stood by them in case of any kind of problems.
