The Shiromani Akali Dal today described as “shocking in the extreme” the sensational disclosures made by AAP’s Punjab Convener Sucha Singh Chhotepur about Delhi CM and AAP don Arvind Kejriwal’s anti-Sikh and “most disparaging and humiliating remarks” ridiculing the pain of being excommunicated from the Panth.It may be recalled that Mr Chhotepur had earlier in the day made public a conversation between him and Mr Kejriwal. According to Chhotepur, in this conversation, when he explained his inability to defend the imprint of Jhaaddoo on an image of Sri Harmandar Sahib as this would have led to his being summoned by Sri Akal Takhat Sahib and the possibility of being excommuncated from the Panth if he defended the pic, Mr Kejriwal remarked, “ Aap ko panth se nikaal dete to kya ho jata.” ( So what if they had thrown you out of Panth!”) At this, according to Mr Chhotepur, he expressed his inability to defend the party on the issue and this was the beginning of his alienation from Kejriwal.“The real reason behind this and intrigues and conspiracies in AAP was the vaulting but ludicrous ambition of Arvind Kejriwal to lord over Punjabis, using local stooges and killing anyone who could question his goal. He is deliberately promoting and encouraging palace intrigues among Punjab AAP leaders like Himmat Singh Shergill and Bhagwant Singh Mann. He will reduce all of them to non-entities in the end.

No outsider or anti-Punjab and anti-Sikh plotter will ever be allowed by Punjabis to turn them into slaves of a UP gang and their chieftain,” said SAD General Secretary Harcharan Singh Bains in a statement here.But with Chhotepur’s disclosures and earlier reports of the same nature, it is game over for AAP in Punjab, said Mr Bains.“Kejriwal secret ambition to be Punjab CM also explains the decision to block entry of Navjot Singh Sidhu into AAP for Kejriwal feared being overshadowed by a Punjab leader. In the process however,he exposed Sidhu to ridicule . That is what he is doing to most Punjab AAP leaders too and all this is a part of a design to render all of them just parasites dependent on him,” added Mr Bains who is alsoAdvisor on National Affairs to the Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Parkash Singh Badal.The Akali General Secretary further said that the disclosures of Chhotepur had finally and irrevocably vindicated all allegations leveled by other AAP leaders like Jassi jasraj, Kingra and Pavittar Singh in the past that Kejriwal was instinctively anti-Sikh and that the party was being run by “ anti Punjab and corrupt gangsters from UP” led by AAP bigwigs Durgesh Pathak and Sanjay Singh, with the help of their local stooges.Describing Mr. Himmat Singh Shergill and Bhagwant Singh Mann as “the petty local henchmen of the UP gangsters”, Mr Bains said that it was unfortunate that these two ‘stooges’were acting like legendary traitors of Punjab conspiring with outsiders to defame Punjab leaders like Khalsa Gandhi, Jasraj, Kingra and now Sucha Singh Chhotepur and thousands of others who had revolted against the sale of party tickets to money bags and allotment to favourites of the UP mafia .“Only two types of people were getting tickets in AAP –those with money bags and those willing to play ball with Kejriwal’s ambitions to rule over Punjab,” said Mr Bains
