Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) on Friday said that the government and their authorities are trying to shift the chairman of their amalgam, Muhammad Yasin Malik to Delhi on the pretext of admitting him to All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS) Delhi for some necessary medical tests but JKLF chief has refused to accept “this dubious offer of the rulers.”In a statement issued to KNS, JKLF spokesman said that authorities at Srinagar’s central jail have been approaching JKLF incarcerated chairman from last two days and have said that some of the medical tests he is to undergo as per doctors’ advice are not available at SKIMS Srinagar and because of this, government has decided to shift him to Delhi and admit him at AIIMS Delhi.Castigating “these malicious attempts of the rulers”, Malik as per JKLF spokesman said that he was arrested by police on 8th July 2016 when he was ill and needed medical supervision. “I was denied every medical facility for many weeks and after seeing his health deteriorating considerably police took him to a Srinagar hospital after many weeks in incarceration but immediately shifted him back to the said police station from where he was shifted to central jail Srinagar on 30th July 2016,” Malik said.He said that since then his health is comparatively better and he has never made any complaint about his health to the jail authorities.Yasin said that doctors have advised him to go for many medical tests on routine basis but these tests are normally available at many places in Srinagar and in rest of Kashmir too but ironically rulers seem to be in a hurry to shift him to Delhi on the pretext of medical treatment and tests. JKLF chairman said that today is his 27th day at central jail Srinagar and till date government seemed reluctant to provide him any proper medical facility but all of a sudden government appears to be in a hurry to send him to Delhi which for all purposes seems highly dubious and suspicious.

Malik said that by Allah almighty’s grace, he is comparatively fine and needs no special sympathies of the government and their authorities.Meanwhile, JKLF chief strongly condemned the spree of arrests, nocturnal raids, restrictions and stringent curfew throughout Kashmir valley, banning Friday prayers at Jamia Masjid Srinagar and other Masjids, and said that the propagators of “so-called healing touch policy” have turned new ‘Hitler’ of the world and have unleashed a reign of terror and declared a war against people in Jammu Kashmir. He said that by these raids, arrests and other oppressive measures of rulers and their authorities cannot defeat the will and resolve of the people of Jammu Kashmir. Malik said that police last night raided the residence of JKLF Zonal vice president (senior) Muhammad Yasin Butt. “Police raided his residence during night hours and where portraying as if they were looking for a militant not a political leader, questioned his ten year old son and harassed his family. Police likewise raided the residence of JKLF district president Islamabad Muhammad Ishaaq Ganie and arrested him. Police also arrested JKLF district secretary Mushtaq Ahmad of Koreg Ganderbal and raided the residence of JKLF district president Ganderbal Bashir Ahmad Rather (Boya),” he said.JKLF strongly condemned this ‘police highhandedness’.It is worth to mention here that besides JKLF chairman, JKLF vice chairman Showkat Ahmad Bakhshi and Zonal president Noor Muhammad Kalwal are languishing in central jail Srinagar whereas block president of JKLF in Kakapora Pulwama Shabir Ahmad Ganaie is in Kuthwa jail under black law PSA.
