Deputy Commissioner Poonch Mohammad Harun Malik today chaired a meeting to review and finalize the arrangements for the upcoming Divisional Level Sports Tournament at Poonch.The tournament scheduled to be held from August 27th to September 7th 2016 will be organized at Sports stadium and Higher Secondary school poonch. The meeting among others was attended by Additional Superintendent of Police, Executive Engineers of PHE, EM&RE, District Youth Service & Sports Officer, CEO Municipality, principals of Higher secondary schools , Manager of sports stadium ,warden G&B hostel and Chief Medical Officer poonch.The meeting was informed that the district is hosting this mega Sports event of Divisional level for the first time . The tournament will include inter district Hockey & football matches under the age group of 14, 17& 19 both for boys and girls.While reviewing the arrangements DC directed the concerned officers to put in concerted efforts for making the event successful.
