Additional Deputy Commissioner Udhampur convened a meeting at base camp Dudu to review the arrangements for 3-day annual Kailash Kund yatra which is commencing from August 29.The meeting discussed various issues in detail like supply of safe drinking water, uninterrupted power supply at the base camp, proper medical facilities, provision of tents and blankets and transport facilities etc.SDM , Sandesh Kumar, SDM Basantgrah, Krishan Kumar , Tehsildar Latti &Marothi, AEE PHE, AEE PWD, BMOs, TSOs and other concerned officers were present in the meeting.During the meeting the ARTO was asked to deploy additional buses from Chattrary to Dudu and Chenani to Dudu for the convenience of the yartris. The ADC directed the BMO to provide proper medical facilities to the pilgrims at the base camp and enroute. He was directed to deploy medical teams at base camp and at Seoj Dhar while AEE ,PWD was directed to ensure the repairing of road from Chenani to Dudu and enroute to Kailash Yatra.The PDA and Tehsildar were directed to provide adequate number of tents and blankets to yatries and were also asked to ensure that the yatries get all the necessary facilities.
