Technical Education Minister inspects the Venue of “Technical Education Summit”

Madan Mohan Mittal, Technical Education Minister, Punjab today inspected the Venue of “Technical Education and Skill Development Summit” being organized on 8th February in Indoor Sports Complex, Sector–78, Mohali.  Before it, Shri Rakesh Verma, Secretary, Technical Education also surveyed the Summit preparations on the venue. The Summit which is being organized by Punjab Govt, PTU and PUTIA, will be inaugurated by S. Prakash Singh Badal, CM, Punjab. A special meeting of all officials of various committees assigned for the Summit was also held.In the meeting, also present were Mr. A.R Talwar, Principal Secretary, Technical Education, Punjab; Sh. Rajneesh Arora, VC, PTU; Dr J S Dhaliwal, President, PUTIA; Mr Satnam Singh Sandhu, Chancellor, Chandigarh University; Dr Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group of Colleges and Convener, PUTIA; Mr Manjeet Singh, Chairman, Doaba Group; Mr Tejinderpal Singh Sandhu etc. Mittal said that all the authorities concerned with Summit are trying their level best to make it a great success. The comfort of personalities and the students participating in the Summit will also be taken care of.It is to be mentioned that that the Summit will be attended by near about 50,000 students and all the dignitaries from Technical Institutes and Colleges affiliated to Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar.
