The pathway of Punjab Raj Bhavan was tastefully decorated to receive the distinguished guests. Office bearers of all the political parties greeted the Governor on the occasion.The Punjab Governor, Prof. Solanki intermingled with the august gathering. He interacted with the freedom fighters, serving and retired army officers on this special day. The Governor said that the nation was proud of the sacrifices made by freedom fighters in the freedom struggle.Progressive farmers from different parts of both the States came in strength to greet the His Excellency on this happy occasion.
