To salute the freedom fighters and pay homage to Martyrs, Luthra Public School,Tallab Tillo,Jammu celebrated 70th Independence Day with great zeal enthusiasm .Sh. Anil Chopra,President of DCC Jammu was the Cheif Guest and graced the occasion. Other dignitaries present on the occasion were Gourav Chopra,Gen Secty DCC,Sh M L Malagar,Sh BB Gupta,Sh. RK Khajuria,Sh JL Koul,Sh Sushil Sharma,Sh Om,Chairman of Luthra Public School ,Sh Rajeev Luthra, Principal Sanjeev Luthra and Manager of School Gulshan Rattan ,Anuradha,Komal & Shone.To keep alive, the flame of patriotism, a bouquet of cultural program was presented by students in the form of speeches, patriotic dance and poems. Students paid rich tributes to the freedom fighters and filled the atmosphere with patriotic fervour.The whole atmosphere felt patriotic with decoration of tri colour balloons, national flag, pictures of our freedom fighters and inspirational quotes. Many Patriotic Songs were sung by the students.
Cheif Guest,Sh Anil Chopra while addressing the students said that to achieve this freedom millions of people gave their lives and also called upon the students to rededicate themselves to fulfil the dreams and aspirations of the founders of our nation. Further Anil Chopra said that the need of the hour was to reflect on the values and principles on which the nation is based and must uphold them not through words but through actions in our everyday lives. Gourav Chopra congratulated the student and staff on 70th Independence Day Celebration. He exhorted the students to contribute in nation building with dedication and sincerity.Principal Sanjeev Luthra welcomed the gathering.
