At least 10 pro-government soldiers were killed and over 18 others injured when a suicide bomber detonated an explosive-laden car amid anti-terror army reinforcements in Yemen's Lahj province on Sunday, a security official said.According to security officials, the soldiers clashed with a group of masked assailants when they launched an armed attack. No group has so far claimed the attack, Xinhua news agency reported.The armed attack was later repelled and several of the assailants were injured.The army reinforcements came from the neighbouring Aden to launch anti-terror offensive and fight terrorists in Lahj, an official said.In Aden, Yemeni-Saudi military preparations were ongoing for a new anti-terror offensive to flush out al-Qaeda terrorists from Abyan province and southern areas around, said government officials.
