Brutal killing of five more Kashmiris, injuring hundreds has again exposed the trigger happiness of Indian forces and police. People of Pirpanjal region deserve our heartfelt thanks for their show of solidarity with their Kashmiri brethren. Ban on Friday prayers at Dargah Hazratbal, continued detention of JKLF leader Zahoor Ahmad Butt and PSA on JKLF activist Shabir Ahmad Ganaie of Kakapora Pulwama highly condemnable. In a statement issued to KNS, chairman Jammu Kashmir liberation front (JKLF) Muhammad Yasin Malik while condemning the ongoing oppression on Kashmiris all over Kashmir valley during which five more innocents have fallen to the bullets of Indian forces and more than 500 people have been injured on last Friday. Yasin Malik said that this spree of killings and firings is going on and its soul motive is to suppress people’s revolution by brute force. It is Indian army, police and forces who at the behest of so-called rulers initiate violence by stopping peaceful programs and showering bullets ,teargas, pepper gas shells, pellets and stones kill and injure peaceful people, said Yasin Malik.

He said that as so-called rulers issue orders to their police, forces and army to suppress people by military might, therefore they are directly responsible for all innocent killings, injuries and losses and according to the law of retribution they will have to answer for their crimes against humanity. While thanking people of Doda, Kishtwar, Baderwah, Ramban, Banihal, Poonch and Rajouri for their show of solidarity with their Kashmiri brethren, Yasin Malik said that this peaceful show of solidarity has once again revealed the fact that people of Jammu Kashmir are one and united in their demand for freedom. Asking people of Jammu Kashmir especially Pirpanjal area to remain vigilant and safeguard their communal brotherhood at every cost, Yasin Malik said that our struggle and present people’s revolution is for a just cause and we seek freedom, justice and prosperity for all people of Jammu Kashmir irrespective of their religion, cast, creed, color and region.

He said that enemies of the people of Jammu Kashmir may try to damage our communal harmony and brotherhood but we all must stand united and peaceful and defeat their nefarious designs. Yasin Malik said that five more people have fallen to the bullets of Indian trigger happy forces and hundreds of innocents have been hit by bullets, pellets and shells showered by these killing forces on Friday. He said that from Kupwara to Qazigund this oppression is continuing unabated and India, so-called pro-India rulers, politicians and parties behaving callously have turned a deaf ear to the screams, mourning’s and wailings of bereaved Kashmiris. He said that relentless unprovoked firings, shelling’s, beatings, cane charges ,nocturnal raids, arrests, slapping Black laws like PSA by so-called rulers ,their forces and police from Kupwara to Qazigund and Budgam to Bandipora are glaring example of this callousness and are highly condemnable. While condemning the spree of arrests throughout the valley, Yasin Malik said that police last night arrested JKLF block-President Kakapora Pulwama Shabir Ahmad Ganaie and immediately shifted him to Kothuwa jail after slapping black law PSA on him. While condemning the ban on Friday prayers at Dargah Hazrat BAL, Yasin Malik said that by this act so-called rulers have crossed every limit of shame.

Senior JKLF leader Zahoor Ahmad Butt (younger brother of JKLF founder martyr Muhammad Maqbool Butt) who was arrested by police on 20th July 2016 from police station Kothibagh where he had come to meet incarcerated JKLF chairman Muhammad Yasin Malik, has started an indefinite hunger strike against police highhandedness against him at police station Kothibagh. JKLF leader is being kept illegally in police custody and his health is deteriorating fast. JKLF chairman Muhammad Yasin Malik while strongly condemning the continued detention of Zahoor Ahmad Butt has said that if any harm is done to him in custody, the responsibility of that will be on the shoulders of so-called rulers.Meanwhile JKLF vice chairman Mushtaq Ajmal today went to Gangbugh and met with the victims of police oppression and expressed solidarity with them. JKLF vice chairman also participated in protest Prayers at Batamaloo along with hundreds of people. Also the mother of a JKLF senior member Shamim Ahmad passed away JKLF incarcerated Chairman Muhammad Yasin Malik while expressing grief over her demise has prayed for her heavenly abode.
