Sources have confirmed that the actor has been roped in to play a negative character Chander in Waaris opposite FarhinaParvez who essays the character of Simran. While Aarti Singh aka Amba who is seen as mother of 3 children will be dealing with Angad Hasija aka Chander as her prospective son-in-law. Turns out Aarti and Angad are the same age and are seen making fun of their on-screen relationship off camera! On his character, Angad shared, “When the show was offered to me I was extremely happy as I have done two shows previously on &TV. The character of Chander that I am playing is very different from the earlier ones. Also, my mom is a regular viewer of Waaris. The character I play is drastically different from how I am in real life. The shade of character is negative, but to top it all he is cheap and badtameez too. I had to do a lot of preparations for this character to learn the body language, pick up the slang of Chander.
