Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir, Mr. Baseer Ahmad Khan today reviewed the functioning of Banks and Post Offices in a meeting with the concerned authorities.The Divisional Commissioner was informed that almost all the bank branches are functioning normally. However, the customers can avail the banking facility anywhere in case their respective branches are non- functional or in case of any law and order situation as they cannot reach to their respective branches.The meeting was informed that about Rs. 16 crore has been withdrawn from different bank branches and post officers by the customers.The meeting was further informed that the pension was also released to the pensioners by the banks.The meeting was attended by the representatives of various banks, besides officers of concerned departments.
