The Deputy Chief Minister of Punjab Sukhbir Singh Badal today said that as Congress Vice President Mr. Rahul Gandhi has admitted the role of congress leaders in 1984 Sikh genocide at New Delhi and other parts of the country, now the congress led UPA Government must apologize for state sponsored brutal killings of innocent Sikhs, in the Parliament. Terming it as the most unfortunate and bigoted, Mr. Badal said that after 3 decades ,the congress has used its clout to shield its killer leaders, resulting that till now no one has been punished for the killings of more than 5000 Sikhs alone in Delhi. Today talking to media persons during the Sangat Darshans in the villages of Mansa District, Mr. Badal said that if Punjab congress leaders have any guts than they must resign on the moral ground in totality. Replying to the question regarding the statement of former Chief Minister Captain Amrinder Singh, Mr. Badal said that “the blood of congressmen has turned white as they are justifying the heinous crime ever committed to a community”.
He also said that due to the people friendly and development oriented policies, the SAD-BJP coalition would rule 25 years and also advised the PPCC President Mr. Partap Singh Bajwa to stop dreaming about the congress ever returning to power in Punjab. Earlier addressing a massive rally, Mr. Badal called upon the people to come forward for the formation of NDA government under the leadership of Mr. Narender Modi as Punjabis have always led the nation in any kind of crisis. He also announced that Punjab Government is all set to release more than 70,000 tube well connections to the farmers applied before 2007 as Punjab has become the first Power surplus state across the country. Besides this to revamp the irrigation system in Malwa region, Mr. Badal said that all distributaries would be strengthened in next 2 years.
In a major setback to the congress, former chairman of Mansa Market Committee, Mr. Gurdev Singh Lalli Dhillon has joined the SAD during an immense gathering at Kharak Singh Wala. While welcoming Mr. Dhillon to the SAD ambit, Mr. Badal offered a “Sirpao” to him and said his services would be fully utilized by the party in the larger public interest.A grant of Rs 10 crore has been released by the Deputy Chief Minister for the Development of villages namely Kharak Singh Wala, Ubbaha, Buraj Dhillwan, Bhaini Bhagha, Tamkot, Buraj Hari, Makha Chahlan, Buraj Jhabbhar, Rarh, Kheva Kallan, Kheva Khurad, Kheva Dyalluwala.Prominent amongst present on the occasion included MP Balwinder Singh Bhundar, MLA Prem Mirttal and former CPS Jagdeep Singh Nakkai.
