Vigilance Bureau has nabbed a class   IV employee posted at Guru Nanak Dev Medical College Amritsar red handed accepting bribe of Rs.20,000.Disclosing this here today an official spokesperson of the Vigilance Bureau said that Jeet Kumar, Class IV employee posted at Guru Nanak Dev Medical College, Amritsar was nabbed on the complaint of GurJeet Kumar resident of village Sarai Amanat Khan, district Tarn Taran. In his complaint lodged with the vigilance bureau the complainant narrated that he had a scuffle with Mohinder Singh of the same village over some issue and in the fight both the parties suffered injuries. He said that the injured members of both the parties were admitted in the Guru Nanak Dev Medical College, Amritsar.

 The complainant alleged that the other party managed to get a forged MLR from the Medical College and on the basis of this MLR case was registered against the complainant. Now the complainant has appealed to re-investigate the MLR and the case was pending before the Medical Board headed by Dr. J.P. Singh. He alleged that the this class IV employee Jeet Kumar was claiming close relations with the Dr. J.P. Singh and demanded Rs.20,000 on behalf of the Doctor to get the favorable report.On the tip off provided by the complainant a trap was laid and Jeet Kumar was nabbed red handed while accepting the bribe of Rs. 20,000 from the complainant.
