Deputy Commissioner, Ghulam Nabi Balwan, convened a meeting with prominent citizens and representatives of social and religious organizations and sought their role in ensuring a serene and tranquil atmosphere in the district.Senior Superintendent of Police, Sandeep Wazir, Chief Planning Officer, Yasir Balwan besides senior officers of various departments were present on the occasion.The Deputy Commissioner urged upon the civil society members to extend cooperation for maintaining harmony and brotherhood in the district.He appreciated the citizens belonging to various communities for maintaining age old tradition of communal harmony and brotherhood. He also asked them not to pay heed to rumour mongers trying to disturb peaceful atmosphere in the district.
