Hisar MP Dushyant Chautala got a rousing welcome, as he stepped in the historic village of Bhiwani Rohilla, which falls in the Hisar parliamentary constituency. What makes Bhiwani Rohilla a unique village is its distinction of having the entire Panchayat, including Sarpanch and Panch - all women. Sh Dushyant started his address by saying that it was a matter of great honour for him that he represents village Bhiwani Rohilla as a member of the Lok Sabha. After reaching the village with hundreds of youth on motorbikes escorting the youngest parliamentarian, Sh Dushyant announced that he has adopted Bhiwani Rohilla under Saansad Adarsh Gram Yojana. Within a fraction of second, the entire village erupted into joy. Amidst the chanting of the slogans, "Dushyant Chautala Zindabad", Sh Dushyant was garlanded and elderly women blessed him, besides singing songs for the prosperity.
While thanking Sh Dushyant for adopting the Bhiwani Rohilla under Saansad Adarsh Gram Yojana, Sarpanch Shmt Asha Rani said that their village is one thousand years old and the entire village would extend all its support in Hisar MP's noble initiative. Addressing the villagers, Sh Dushyant said that it was a remarkable achievement that the entire village panchayat has been elected unanimously, while adding, "Especially so, when all the women are there in the Panchayat, it is a matter of pride. The example set by this village may not be anywhere else."
Sh Dushyant further said that village Bhiwani Rohilla has shown the real women empowerment and appreciated it for having the sex ratio of 1067 females per 1000 males. Applauding the works being undertaken by the Pragati Youth Club, Sh Dushyant said, "The manner in which the youth of this village, through this club, are running a library and also holding Vyayam Shalla, are really commendable. If youth in all the villages of Haryana start following the village Bhiwani Rohilla model, the rural areas of the state would witness immense progress."
Hisar MP asserted that it was a matter of pride for him to adopt the village under the Saansad Adarsh Gram Yojana. He announced that soon he alongwith the administrative authorities would be visiting the village to make sure that problems related to the basic civic amenities are sorted out at the earliest.
