District Development Commissioner, Ramban Mohammad Aijaz who is also the chairman of District Task Force Immunization (DTFI) Ramban convened a meeting to review the preparedness for implementing Mission Indradhanush in all four medical blocks of the district.The meeting was attended by the members of DTFI including CMO, Dr. Anwar Bhat, Dy. CMO Dr. M I Bhat, BMO Banihal Dr. Mohd Yousuf, BMO Gool Dr. Bashir Ahmed, CDPO Ramban and officials of health department.Speaking on the occasion, the DDC said that the objective of this mission is to immunize all the unimmunized and partially immunized children and pregnant women in the district and directed the CMO to cover far flung areas as well as the nomadic population for achieving 100% immunization in the district.
Further, the DDC asked the CMO to involve Lamberdar, ASHAs, Anganwari workers and PRIs in the various activities of Indradhanush mission and stressed on the distribution of IEC material related to Mission Indradhanush.The DDC also directed the concerned authorities to display the schedule of vaccination at prominent places and organize awareness camps.Emphasizing on making the mission successful, the DDC asked them for the proper distribution of vaccines at all levels so that all left-out target group can be covered and cent percent immunization can be achieved in the district.
