Rs. 616.11 cr approved under DDUGJY schemes: Naeem Akhtar

Minister for Education, Naeem Akhtar today informed that Rs 616.11 crore have been approved under Deendayal Upadhyaya Gram Jyoti Yojana (DDUGJY) schemes for 21 districts of J&K State.Replying, on behalf of Power Minister, to a question of Saif-ud-Din Bhat, the Minister said DDUGJY works in Khansahib Assembly Segment stand included in the DDUGJY scheme for Budgam District with sanctioned cost of Rs 27.34 crore. He said feeder segregation, metering, system strengthening and connecting unconnected areas of the Constituency are included in the Action Plan.The Minister informed that e-tender for the DDUGY scheme stands floated and due to no response, online bid submission date was extended till May 25th, 2016. He said all the tendering procedure is completed and work shall start for Deendayal
