Speaker Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly, Kavinder Gupta today inaugurated seven newly installed transformers in different localities of Gandhi Nagar constituency. Three transformers of 250 KV were installed at sector 7/6 in Nanak Nagar, A/D Block Gandhi Nagar and sector 5 in Trikuta Nagar while four transformers with a capacity of 100 KV were installed at Valmiki Colony, Adarsh Vihar in Deeli and two at Shanker Nagar near Wave Mall.The Speaker also inaugurated up-gradation work of lanes and drains at sector 6 Nanak Nagar.
During his visit to different areas, the Speaker interacted with the locals and assured them that their problems and demands would be looked into for prompt redressal.The Speaker said that the government is committed to provide enhanced basic services to the people and it is being ensured that no area is left unattended.Later, Kavinder Gupta inaugurated Polyclinic Save on Medicals at Shastri Nagar. The authorities of the healthcare institute informed the about the facilities available in the clinic. It was apprised that the clinic will provide medical facilities of Max Hospital Delhi through video consultation.
