The Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Dr. Asgar Hassan Samoon today convened a meeting regarding project Network For Spectrum (NFS) for grant of Right of Way (ROW) permissions in State of Jammu and Kashmir.The meeting discussed various issues which include grant of ROW permissions for strategic optical fiber cable network spectrum which would enable service providers extended high speed broadband network, both voice and data to the remote areas of J&K State.The meeting was attended by Deputy Commissioners of all districts of Kashmir Division through video conference besides, Chief Engineers of BRO Beacon, PWD (R&B) PMGSY, Director Urban Local Bodies Kashmir, Commissioner SMC Srinagar, Project Officer NHAI Srinagar, Project Director Sterile Technologies Ltd attended the meeting.The Divisional Commissioner stressed upon the concerned officers that digging of roads, national highways for such purpose shall not be allowed without proper permissions from the concerned authorities.
